Magyar Geotermális Egyesület

The Hungarian Geothermal Association (HGA) has been successfully operating for decades in Hungary, one of the frontrunners of geothermal heat utilisation in Europe. It was established in 1995 and is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation. It aims to represent members engaged in geothermal energy extraction, production and utilisation, and to support and promote relevant research and development as well as exploring new fields of application. It has over 80 members and comments on draft legislation, issues geothermal newsletter and organises geothermal events.

Providing technical support for the creation and analysis of databases and questionnaires, and assistance in defining the best geothermal practices.
