COSVIG–DTE and the partnership of the GREET GEO European Project are pleased to invite you to participate in the international workshop “Strategic Innovation Agenda for Geothermal Exploitation in Europe”, which will take place on 21 July 2026 in a hybrid format, with the possibility to attend either in person in Florence (venue to be confirmed) or online.

The event will provide a valuable opportunity for discussion, knowledge exchange, and networking among institutional stakeholders, the scientific community, industry representatives, and sector associations.

During the workshop, participants will be presented with:

✅ Benchmarking data on European geothermal value chains;
✅ Best practices and case studies;
✅ Innovative and replicable business models.

👥 The workshop will be followed by an interactive roundtable discussion focused on identifying priority actions to strengthen interregional value chains, innovation ecosystems, and regulatory frameworks.

The objective is to accelerate the development and deployment of both deep and shallow geothermal energy, with particular attention to improving governance, fostering regional cooperation, and enhancing the active involvement of SMEs within innovation ecosystems.
